Pacific Northwest Cabinetry Company Story:
|
At the age of 26, I was working for a cabinet shop as a designer/sales person.
I admired that the company I worked for offered a $100 cash guarantee for clients if they were ever
late on a project. The first time that I had a project that turned out to be "late" for a client, my boss
refused to pay the $100 to them. I was so embarrassed by this and appalled at this unethical way of doing
business. It was at that moment that I quit and decided to start my own company. I took all the years of
learning my trade (from my father, a master Swiss immigrant cabinet maker), my college education, and all
of the ethics I had learned growing up in parochial schools and put them to use. Most importantly,
I knew I would deliver what I promised, on time, every time. Nineteen years later, our team is still
delivering on promises each and every day.
